Anya Angel formally known as Anna Voronina, was born in Moscow, Russia. At the age of 17 Anya joined Russian Pop group "Route", she then decided to leave the band and work on her own, in 2007 she met up with some DJ's and began to make Dance-pop music. Nowadays she works with various singers and preforms pop music.
