A.k.a. Bəhram Məşədi Süleyman bəy oğlu Mansurov
Bahram Mansurov (February 12, 1911, Baku - May 14, 1985, Baku) was Soviet Azerbaijani tar player, People's Artist of Azerbaijan SSR. Tar player. From 1929 he worked in the Azerbaijan East State orchestra later in the orchestra of national instruments of the Azerbaijani radio, was a soloist of Azerbaijan State Philharmonic. Mansurov was an Azerbaijani artist and belonged to a family of distinguished musicians and patrons of music. He possessed a model repertoire bequeathed by the masters of the previous century and was the representative of a generation of musicians whose apprenticeship was purely oral. He made the Azerbaijani muqâm known for the first time during his tours abroad. Father of Eldar Mansurov.
