Soviet techno-pop group Biokonstruktor was founded in 1986 in Moscow by Alexander Yakovlev and Andrey Kokhayev. In 1987, in their home studio was recorded their sole album. Before completing their next album "Техноромантики", the group split up in 1990 into two bands: Био lead by Yakovlev and Технология. Band members were: Alexander Yakovlev - vocals, keyboards Leonid Velichkovsky - keyboards Andrey Kokhayev - electric drums Valery Vasko - keyboards Vasko left the group in 1989 and Roman Ryabtsev took his place.
