Valeriy Marenych (b. 1946) is a Ukrainian singer and songwriter. In 2003 He was awarded the title "People's Artist of Ukraine". Valeriy Marenych together with his wife Antonina (Антоніна Маренич) and her sister Svitlana (Світлана Маренич), formed the "Trio Marenych" (Тріо Маренич). The trio, mostly sang folk and contemporary pop songs in Ukrainian and were recorded by Melodiya Records. From 2005 Valeriy Marenych sings solo. He currently lives in Lutsk, Ukraine.
