A.k.a. Julius Napoleon William Harteveld

(1859-1927) Wilhelm Harteveld was born and raised in Sweden, in Stockholm, and later graduated from the Leipzig Conservatory and moved to Russia. In Russia he is most remembered because of his Opera "the Song of triumphant love" and through written romances. But the real fame came to him after the composer was fascinated by folklore and started picking up the "historical" and "folk" songs.
