(December 07, 1941, Moscow - August 1, 2013) Soviet tenor-saxophonist. arranger, producer. One of the participants in the first national jazz festivals of the 60s. In 1962-65 he studied at the Moscow Institute of Transportation Engineers. In the early 60s began to play with Андрей Товмасян (Andrey Tovmasyan), Вадим Сакун (Vadim Sakun), Валерий Буланов (Valery Bulanov), played all the Moscow Jazz Festivals. Since 1965 led several groups in Moscow Musical Ensembles Unity (MOMA), in 1968-72 constantly worked in jazz cafe "Молодежное" (Youth) and "Синяя птица" (The Blue Bird). In 1972-78 has created jazz-rock groups. (In it at different times involved musicians: trumpet Igor Shirokov, Oleg Stepurko, trombone Sasha Kofman Gregory Shabrov keys.) and worked with Александр Зацепин (Alexander Zatsepin) and Алла Пугачева (Alla Pugacheva).
