Galina Volchek (b. 1933) is a prominent Soviet-Russian theater and film director, actress, and pedagogue. She received numerous awards and honorary mentions throughout her career both in USSR and contemporary Russia, including USSR State Prize (1967), People's Artist of USSR (1989), Full cavalier of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland," and Hero of Labour of the Russian Federation (2017). From 1955 to 1964, Volchek was married to a prominent actor Evgeny Yevstigneyev.
