Любомир Левчев (transliterated as Lyubomir Levchev) is a Bulgarian poet and writer. Born in 1935 in Troyan, Bulgaria, he is regarded as one of the great poets of Eastern Europe, and has received many international awards, including the Gold Medal for Poetry from the French government.
