Sergei Shaboltiev ( born October 29, 1989) known as Acultist (Оккультист), is a Belarusian rapper, musician and songwriter. Specialized on experimental styles of underground rap, social themes of the texts and dark atmosphere of his projects. His debut project “Dopelganger” (2013) describes the duality of socialization and the problem of self-determination and choice. His next two releases “Phantasmagoria” (2014) and “Country of Hunger” (2017) describes the Illusory culture and barriers of stereotypes, describe the controllling system of society as a kind of mechanism that is alien to human nature and enters into conflict with it. Acultist also cooperating with other writers and artists for coop work, like his instrumental project “Outcome” (2015), which was written for further realization by Deproverst band. All the releases are produced by his own label Acultist prod.
