Band,
Igor Bril formed his trio in the early 1960s, soon after graduating from the Moscow Conservatory. The group had been performing original music and re-arranged songs of popular Soviet composers. They debuted at the 2nd Moscow Jazz Festival in 1965, and later toured extensively around the Soviet Union, Bulgaria, Eastern Germany, Cuba. In 1971, Igor Bril Trio participated in the famous Jazz Jamboree Festival in Warsaw. One of their compositions was released on the festival compilation. In 1975, Igor decided to disband his Trio and started performing with a larger ensemble, but he reunited the group with new musicians in 2012.
