Born January 13th, 1949 in Bogoslovka, USSR. Died December 19th, 2010 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Jury Shestakov was a Soviet/Russian poet. His poem "Автомобили", published in the 1987-issue of the sience magazine "Техника — молодёжи", was used by the musician Ольга Восконьян for her disco hit Автомобили.
