Jako Poliker (Hebrew: ג'קו פוליקר or ז'קו פוליקר) was a Greek-Israeli singer and the father of Yehuda Poliker, a highly successful Israel rock and folk musician. In 1943 Poliker was deported from his native Thessaloniki (Salonica), Greece to Auschwitz. He escaped and later told his story as part of "After The War", a radio program recorded for Galei Tzahal, first broadcast on the eve of the Holocaust Memorial Day, 1986. He also sang "Wait For Me Saloniki" in Greek. The program was included in the 20th anniversary two CD edition of his son's album "Ashes and Dust." In 2000, at age 82, Jako decided to document the music of the prewar Thessaloniki Jewish community with his son. Recordings made at that time. set to modern interpretations of the Ladino and Greek songs of that era, were released as the album "Jako and Yehuda Poliker" in 2012. Sarah Poliker was his wife.
