Filfel Gourgy (1935 - 1983) was an Iraqi jewish singer of the maqam. He escaped to Iran in 1950 and left for Israel six months later. He continued to sing and write songs in Arabic language for the Iraqi jewish community in Israel and his songs were broadcast on the arabic language channel of Kol Yisrael.
