Amal al-Mathlouthi (born 1982) is a Tunisian singer-songwriter known for her protest songs. In 2008, after the Tunisian Government banned her songs from the radio and TV she decieded to move to France. Her song "Kilmiti ḥurra (My Word Is Free)" became one of the anthems of the Tunisian revolution in 2011.
