al-Asheqin (the Lovers (of Palestine)) is a Palestinian vocal group that was founded by حسين نازك (Hussein Nazek) and محمد سعد دياب (Muhammed Saad Diab) in Damaskus 1977 and is lead by Hussein al-Munzir. Their most famous performances are the national eposes of Izz al-Din al-Qassam and سجن عكا (From Akka Prison) about the three Palestinian fighters executed by the British after the Western Wall Uprising. The group was first time admitted entry to Palestine in 2010 where they held a concert.
