Zakariya al-Hagawi (1915 - 1975) was an Egyptian pioneer of folkloric music known for presenting traditional music through modern media. In 1971 he moved to Qatar where he worked with gathering and preserving local traditional music. He was married to the folkloric singer خضرة محمد خضر (Khadra Mohamed Khidr).
