Saliha Es-Saghira (1943 - 2005) was a Tunisian-Algerian singer and actress. She was born in the Tunisian town al-Kafclose to Algeria. She was discovered by Salah El Mahdi during a school performance and he encouraged her to record. At first she recorded under her real name هند (Hind) but as she was inspired by the Tunisian singer صليحة (Saliha) she named herself after her. She became known as صليحة الصغيرة (Saliha Es-Saghira (The Younger Saliha) in the early 1960s.
