Adnan Abou Chamat (born 1934 in Damascus) is a Syrian musician and composer. In 1964 he became the musical director of the فرقة أمية للفنون الشعبية (The Umayya Folkloric Troupe) at the Ministry of Culture. He left the ministry in 1978.
