A.k.a. عمر ورافي (ʾUmar wa-Rāfi)

Omar & Rafi was an Iraqi-Lebanese duo made up of عمر حمدان (Omar Hamdan) and رافي (Rafi). They were active in Lebanon in the years 1998 - 2004. Omar Hamdan is a Lebanese who grew up in Kuwait where he studied music. He returned to Beirut in 1995. Rafi is an Iraqi-Armenian born in Baghdad in 1967. He was a member in the Iraqi band Storms which dissolved in 1992 because of the security situation in Iraq. Its members spread out to different parts of the world. Rafi went to Zahle in Lebanon.
