The Kuwaiti Television Artistic Group is a Kuwait Folkloric Group founded in 1978 by the initiative of former Minister of Information محمد السنعوسي (Mohamed al-Sanʾūsi) and the singer شادي الخليج (Shadi al-Khalij). The Groups mission was serve Kuwaiti Television, perform at national occasions and present Kuwait in festivals abroad. The Group was established as a 40 member ensemble lead and trained by the following members: فيصل الضاحي Fayṣal al-Ḍāḥi (leader) غنام الديكان Ghannām al-Dīkān (supervisor, trainer (vocals) and composer) مرزوق المرزوق Marzūq al-Marzūq (supervisor, trainer (vocals)and Composer) نجم العميري Najm al-᾽Amīri (Supervisor and trainer (percussion) بدر الجويهل Badr al-Juwayhal (supervisor, trainer and composer) مرجان عبد الله Murjān ʾAbdallah (supervisor and trainer (dance) سلوى طلب Salwā Ṭalab (trainer (dance) and stylist) علاء الشربيني ᾽Alā' al-Sharbīni (trainer (dance) and stylist)
