A.k.a. 田代 美代子 / Miyoko Tashiro
Japanese female singer born in Tokyo on October 1, 1943. She studied with Japanese chanson pioneer 石井好子 and also learned jazz vocals from jazz singer Toshio Suzuki. Se used to sing at the famous Chanson bar 銀巴里 in Ginza, Tokyo. Her record debut was "赤い砂漠" in 1965. Later she worked as a key member of Japan Federation of UNESCO Associations.
