... of death played emotive, experimental hardcore from 2000-2003. Based in Fort Worth, Texas, they formed from the ashes of Quiet Earth, a Fort Worth powerviolence band. Bassist Jason had previously played with Unruh. After touring with pg99, Majority Rule and City of Caterpillar, ...of death recorded their second album at Electricalaudio in Chicago. Due to members relocating out of state, the band called it quits. Joshua and GB performed as chimeneas, an instrumental drone act that eventually grew to a 5 piece band with more of a dub/rhythm based sound. Members went on to play in the Sneeze, chimeneas, Tidals, Healers, Cattle Assassins and Genius Party.
