Mike Wright is an American DJ/remixer/producer born on March 17, 1971 in New Jersey. Mike had his DJ debut in 1989 with DJ Zane Gibbs who was performing at the Omni Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. Mike attributes his remixing and production influences to his parents who had diverse tastes in music. He was also heavily influenced early in his career by trend-setting nightclubs like Zanzibar in Newark, NJ and New York City’s The Tunnel, Red Zone, Sound Factory / Bar, and Studio 54. After honing his skill, his first big DJ break came in 1997 in NYC from DJ Adam Scott who had a residency at a promotional party called “Legends” in NYC. Mike has DJ'd in various clubs in the Tri-State area which included residencies at Deja Vu in Atlantic City, NJ; GLO lounge in East Brunswick, NJ; Club Ohm NYC; Club Love NYC and finally Pacha NYC. Alvaro Jimenez is an Ecuadorian DJ/producer born on February 7, 1970. Alvaro developed and made his name as a DJ (Mr. X) in his hometown of Elizabeth NJ in the late 1980’s. Al was influenced by his grandfather who was a musician best known for his “Folklore” music which was used in the 1950’s and 1960’s as background music at poetry reading around Ecuador. Alvaro has DJed alongside great talents such as Nick Jones, Kim Lightfoot, Basil and Slam Mode. Alvaro’s DJ and production philosophy is to creating music that makes you feel; that moves you physically and emotionally allowing you to remember a place, time, and create a lasting memory. In addition to working with Mike Wright, Alvaro also collaborates with DJ/remixer/producer Wayne Gardiner.
