256

Band,
Rock

Grand Rapids, Michigan band Bio from Reverbnation: TWOFIVESIX aka 256 started in 1987 in John Vail's parent's basement with John V., Don, & Rodney... then went through drummers named Brad and then Pete... finally landed on Emilio on drums for good... at one point added ENEMENCIO123 on keyboard, then ENEMENCIO123 decided it was not going to work... then added John S. on keyboard and Sax... the band fired John V. in Summer 1992 and added ENEMENCIO123 on guitar, then ENEMENCIO123 decided it was not going to work without John V. so ENEMENCIO123 quit for the 2nd time and John V. joined again... Don quit TWOFIVESIX 256 for "Jesus" in 1992 at the Tori Amos concert... then in 1993/94 TWOFIVESIX 256 recorded at Station C Studios and made a Cassette Titled: The American Dream Bleeds Through" all instrumentals... then at some point added Randy on Vocals... John V. discovered Randy, then TWOFIVESIX 256 fired Randy, then after Randy opened up for TWOFIVESIX 256, the band realized Randy was good, and so they took him back in again for good as lead singer... TWOFIVESIX 256 again went into Station C Studios in 1994 and cut a Full Length CD Recording Titled: "Mirrorings Of Every"... at that point Herm Baker sent out copies of that CD and one Landed in Andy Karp's hands at Atlantic Records... Atlantic Records wanted to sign TWOFIVESIX 256, but the Stability of the band at that point was questioned due to John V. so in 1995 John Vail was Fired... and for a 3rd time ENEMENCIO123 was added as a Replacement... 3 months later John V. committed suicide and it affected the whole band, especially ENEMENCIO123 who happened to be very close to John V. so with ENEMENCIO123 there was many shows and gigs and lots of band practices and even a CD Recorded at The White Room in Detroit Michigan, the CD was Titled: 'Product' released in 1996... also a "Demo" Cassette was made too... 9 months after John V.'s death, ENEMENCIO123 decided to leave the band stating "it was way too difficult to move forward without John V."... CD release party for "Product" was canceled and the band moved on... Gary replaced ENEMENCIO123 on guitar... TWOFIVESIX 256 with Gary Recorded a CD Titled: "i was a six and now i'm a 7"... then TWOFIVESIX 256 broke up for good in Winter of 1998... then ENEMENCIO123 tried for 4 years to get Randy to put the band back together and in 2003, TWOFIVESIX 256 Re-United... the band recorded an EP Demo with Jay "Wilco" in Chicago, TWOFIVESIX 256 fired ENEMENCIO123 shortly after... ever since then the band has had "Very Mild" success in the West Michigan area... TWOFIVESIX 256 had Great Potential at one point, but due to all the "Drama" and what not, the magic they once had is just not there, and now TWOFIVESIX 256 lacks originality and balls... sad to say "now they are just another local band"... most of the "New" TWOFIVESIX 256 Fans don't even know who John V. & ENEMENCIO123 are... John V. & ENEMENCIO123 made the band Original... TWOFIVESIX 256 has denied the "Facts" about the history of the Band, when it comes to John V. & ENEMENCIO123... but the "Truth" will always prevail... John V. was the Heart and Soul of TWOFIVESIX 256 and ENEMENCIO123 was The Formula of TWOFIVESIX 256... and without those 2 individuals either with "one or the other" , it's just Not The Same... the band Chemistry is not there without John V. & ENEMENCIO123 , and no matter how many times TWOFIVESIX 256 tries... it never seems to reach as high as it did in the past... TWOFIVESIX 256 today is just a shadow of itself...
