Band,
A.k.a. 3 Days Of Silence
SODIUM: the bleak lampposts that shed light onto overcrowded streets. SULFUR: the reek of provocation and beastly depravation. TWO elements combined to give shape to our agonizing Zeitgeist. Hovering above Pandemonium City at rush hour hails 3 DAYS OF SILENCE in a clash of scorching black metal and cold electronic beats. With its first LP (available fall 2013), this new Swiss entity drags its listener in two distinctive landscapes. Hypnotic riffing and inventive sampling are the trademark of ambient side ‘Sodium, while ‘Sulfur, plunges in an industrial yet melodic black metallic furnace. Thought as a consortium of sound-crafters rather than a plain band, 3 DAYS OF SILENCE lies upon its three-headed nucleus – Faex, AsCl3 and Tom. But also sees cameos by many talented artists: Aort (Code, Blutvial), John (Blutmond), Pat Bonvin (Near Death Condition), or Vince (Xicon). aCid (Wulff Kloff, Dark Isle) also crafted an internet only bonus remix. Producer Drop (Sybreed, This Misery Garden) and visual artist Slo (Smohalla, Way To End) completes this outré city council. Bitter impressions of damp British streets, soaked in ale and whisky. Fear of a blank future. Acceptance of our own frailty. 3 DAYS OF SILENCE is not going to take you some place safe.
