Album US 2010 on Rogue Elephant label
Alternative (Pop Punk, Indie Rock)
This Kills Me is 41 Gorgeous Blocks’ sixth studio album. The tiny voices heard on “My Heart Grew” are Deedle’s actual children, one of whom was born during the recording of This Kills Me. Some stuff recorded earlier and later in various people's homes. In one of the final recording days of This Kills Me, a 37-minute conversation between an exhausted Deedle LaCour and Matt Riggle was accidentally recorded on Matt’s cell phone. The result was included at the end of the record. The unlisted 15th track on This Kills Me is a cover of “748-1414” the Dallas Times Herald’s jingle from the 80’s.
