415 was a rap/hip hop group that formed in Oakland, California in 1988. The group was composed of rappers Richie Rich (2) and D-Loc, and producers DJ Daryl and J.E.D.. The group takes its name from the telephone area code 415, which originally served San Francisco and Oakland; it has since split in 1992 with San Francisco retaining 415 while Oakland became served by the new area code 510.
