Belgian New wave band from Aalst. Influenced by The Police and Fisher Z they started as a schoolband named Shit in 1979. In 1982 they won the third prize for Rock Rally 1982. 5 CV (Cinq Chevaux in French) means 5 Horse Power. Members: Jan Moens (bass); Nicolas Lateste (Vocals and Guitar); Dirk Van Hoorde (Drums); Peter Van Mulders (Lead Guitar and Vocals); Phillippe "Phil" Coen (Synthesizers)
