Alternative and Rock
7 WEEKS formed in april 2006 in Limoges, France. "All Channels Off", their first album, is the product of three years of creating a wall of sound and a style borrowed from genres such as Stoner Rock as well as from more alternative influences. This record succeeds a demo which circulates on the internet, as well as their first EP "B(l)ack Days" in 2007 which lead the band to go on tour throughout France: 150 concerts from le Printemps de Bourges (FR) to the Rock For People Festival (CZ Rep). The band supported Suicidal Tendencies and Infectious Grooves during their French tour in 2010 and have also played with: Placebo, Arctic Monkeys, The Datsuns, Brant Bjork, The Damned, The Vibrators, Mass Hysteria, Lofofora... 7 WEEKS recorded in 2011 the project “7 WEEKS plays Dead Of Night”, music based on Bob Clark’s movie (Release on November 2011) in which the band matures and adds new influences in his music. The 3rd and following album “Carnivora” is out in march 2013. In october 2014, the band released a 5-tracks EP "Bends".
