72 Soul’s new Fools Play EP is available now as free download and on limited edition 10″ vinyl. Get the conceptual release by the soulful storyteller here, with contributions by Akello Light, Brise, Roxy and LuiGi. At first the “Fools Play” EP sounds like a romantic 8-track story full of heart. But a closer listen catches the bittersweet nature of the tale told by soulful storytellers 72 Soul, Brise and Roxy. The clearly recognizable sample of Leroy Hutson’s "Cool Out", subtly reworked by Belgian beatmaker LuiGi, serves as a melodic backdrop for 72 Soul’s poetic story on "Fool Is Blind". It’s followed by a thumping bass and laid back melodies by Akello Light on "She Likes To Play", the romance’s musical sequel.
