A.k.a. 731 (Nana-San-Ichi)
Politically-charged, Japanese wave punk/post-punk band from Kōfu city, Yamanashi, formed in 1982. They put out only one self-released 7" EP, recorded in Aug 1983 and came out in early 1984, which is a quite excellent record but is very rare to find. The band had already broken up when the recording for the 7" was done, as their last show (opening for The Stalin) was in May 1983. --- The band name "731" is an obvious reference to the notorious covert army unit 731部隊 (Unit 731). ---
