Rock, Folk and World
One-off side project from various American alternative and indie rock musicians in 1995. The one-time supergroup consisted of singer/songwriter Vic Chesnutt, Sparklehorse's Mark Linkous, Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven's David Lowery, and Paul Niehaus and Kurt Wagner of Lambchop. The record was recorded in Athens, GA at John Keane's studio, April 1995. The record came about as Vic was having trouble with his own recording, and when the others dropped by to see how things were going, they prescribed a bourbon-soaked weekend collaboration, and the 7" was the result.
