The Philipstown Messiah was a one-off collective ensemble of 50 artists, who came together under the direction of Gordon Stewart to perform and record 2 performances of Parts I & II of Handel's Messiah at the St. Mary-In-The-Highlands Church in Cold Spring, NY on December 22, 2013 attended by almost 600 Philipstown residents, with proceeds from the sales of the performance going to Philipstown Info mainly to help with the financial needs of the historic church.
