A-3 grew up on the Southside of Houston, TX in the Dead End where he was exposed to violence, drugs and the hustle, as A-3 calls it whatever it takes to make ends meet. Through the lost of loved ones and the hardships of coming from a low-income family, he overcame negative surroundings. After being disappointed and mislead by different record labels, A-3 found a home with Wreck Shop Records CEO D-Reck Dixon. Also being the CEO of his own Label Trendsetta Records, and decided to promote himself by selling his music to stores as well as the streets all over the southern region
