A.k.a. Asa Alonso Allen
Asa Alonso Allen (March 27, 1911 - June 11, 1970), better known as A. A. Allen, was a controversial evangelist with a Pentecostal healing and deliverance ministry. He was, for a time, associated with the "Voice of Healing" movement founded by Gordon Lindsay. He died at the age of 59 in San Francisco due to alcoholism. He formed the company A. A. Allen Revivals, Inc. to publish religious books and magazines. He also put out hundreds of records under the label Miracle Revival Recordings with gospel singing, sermons, miracle cures and exorcisms and was a TV preacher. His sister is Ruby Witt.
