A.k.a. Ann Caroline Chubb
A.C.Chubb played alto sax and sang with Mofungo in the early 80's. She performed on (as well as contributed to the production of) their first vinyl L.P.,"Out Of Line" on Zoar records (following the release of their self-produced tape L.P. "The End of the World"). She also performed with Mofungo on "Gimme a Sarspirilla" a cut from their 3-song e.p."El Salvador" on the Rough Trade label, and with Mofungo on the Zoar Records compilation "Peripheral Vision: bands of Loisaida". She performed solo on Fiddle at The Kitchen and other gigs with voice and saxophone too numerous to mention. After leaving Mofungo she lived in New Orleans for many years until Hurricane Katrina devastated the city. She currently resides in Great Barrington, Massachusetts with her dogs and daughter.
