Band,
A.k.a. Umupop
AMeHOELA was a Dutch reggae/ska-band, founded in 2002 by Micha Baksteen and Herman Habekotté, then still called Umupop. Summer 2004 it was decided to change the name of the band into 'AMeHOELA'. The band featured Micha (bass guitar), Herman (lead vocals/trombone), Henry Romkes (keyboards/samples), Jeroen Gulikers (keyboards/accordion/theremin), Guus Kerpel (guitar) and Olivier Abeln (drums). Guus was later replaced by Sebastian Bruinewoud. Jeroen decided to leave to band november 2004. The band toured in the Netherlands in 2004, 2005 and 2006 and released an unnamed live demo-single, a mini live-album (both recorded at the time they were still called Umupop) in 2004 and the single 'Ambulance' 2006. In 2006 the band decided to quit.
