Romanian operatic mezzo-soprano Vocals/soprano vocals ✰ February 10, 1899, Buziaș, Timiș County ✞ April 9, 1987, Cluj-Napoca, at 88 years old Graduated „Școala Superioară de Fete din Timișoara“/„Superior Girls School from Timișoara“ 1913 ‎–1921 graduated Milwaukee Conservatory (USA) 1921 – graduated Music School from Craiova with teacher Eugenia Ciolac 1921 – debuted at Romanian Opera from Cluj as mezzo-soprano in the role of „Siebel“ in „Faust's“ Opera by Gounod 1925 – received a scholarship in Milan where studied with Tina Scognamiglio In Italy, it was confirmed by the italian masters that she did not have a mezzosoprano vocals but a soprano of color vocals 1931 – debuted at La Scala Theater in Milan as „Freja“ on Opera „Twilight of Gods“ by Wagner In same year, recorded and released at His Master's Voice Traviata Opera under conductor Tulio Serafin Married to doctor Titus Vasiliu, Anna Rozsa lived in Cluj until the end of his long life (88 years)
