AWOLism makes music for a car ride through the night, a companion to the street lights passing by. This is the soundtrack of drawing, reading sci-fi novels or listening in headphones in the dark. It is not quite ambient, not quite dance music. AWOLism is Andreas Wolmer. Andreas started making music in the early nineties and has been involved in several bands and projects in various genres, from electro pop to crust punk. The AWOLism moniker provides an outlet for his midtempo oriented electronica. These are the tracks with the big bass, the shuffling rhythms and the gentle melodies
