Abakus is Russell Davies, the son of Dave Davies who is the founder of the Kinks. Abakus also releases electro/disco-house under the moniker Cinnamon Chasers. His initial album "That Much Closer To The Sun" was released in 2004 on Liquid Sound Design. It appealed to both fans of psychedelic and balearic chillout. His following release four years later on Modus Records "We Share The Same Dreams" introduced more of an electro feel and was followed by a free digital mix "The Jaguar Sessions".
