A.k.a. Abel Polo
DJ Abel El Toro, synonymous with Sydney’s party scene from day one, is a master on the wheels of steel, mixing, scratching and cutting up a diverse range of music from funk to tech-house. The Sydney born DJ of Spanish origin first came to our attention in the early 90's, when no flyer was complete without his name. He soon started promoting parties himself, bringing Sydney and its surrounding countryside together with the legendary Happy Valley at Windsor, Midnight Madness at Darling Harbour, Mixed Beans held in warehouses around Alexandria and the longest running mid-week club event Warm Up. Regarded as one of Sydney’s top shelf DJ's, he is renowned for his unique style of music and passion at what he does. His ability to play a diverse range of music sees him DJ at both large scale events and underground parties around the country as well as overseas. Like many successful DJ's, he has worked on his own productions including "Jalima" and "On The Microphone", co-produced with fellow aussie DJ Jumping Jack on "4 U 2 Know" and "Amore", as well as production/remixes for the likes of Paul Mac, Sophie Monk, Collette, Johnny Young, DJ Alex Taylor, Southend, Nina Hagen, Sidewinder, Skunk Hour, Sleek the Elite (Fat Pizza) and Funk D’ Void (UK).
