Band, DE
Rock
German metal/hardcore band formed in 1998 under the name Countless. The line-up at that point consisted of Daniel (Vocals), Markus (guitar), Phillip (bass) and Felix (drums). After performing a few shows Roland replaced Felix as the bands drummer. In June 1999 a demo was released on Our World Records. Not long after the release of the demo the band recruited Arne as a second guitarist and began writing more complex songs, it was at this point that they changed their name to Absidia. They returned to the studio in June 2000 to record Written in Minor Key, which was released by Per Koro records in 2001. Due to problems within the band Phillip left around this time and was replaced half a year later by Peter. In late 2001 Roland left the band in order to focus on his education. It was at this point that Marc-Antonio offered to record some new songs with the band, eventually joining them full time. In February 2002, the Morphology Of Fear split was released jointly by Per Koro records and Bastardized Records. The band split early in 2003, however soon after Roland rejoined the band to replace Markus on guitar. Arne, Roland and Marc-Antonio have since formed The Crimson Divine, Peter has joined Teamkiller and Daniel has joined Since The Day.
