Le groupe Acajun existe depuis 2005 et il consiste de cinq musiciens de la région sud-est du Nouveau-Brunswick. Son style comprend des influences du country, de l'acadien traditionnel et du rock'n'roll. Le groupe Acajun joue une variété de spectacles y comprit les festivals de la région. En août 2007, Acajun remporta le prix du 'Choix du futur' décerné par Choix 99,9 FM (Moncton). Ce prix permetta au groupe d'enregistrer son tout premier album au Studio Belivo (George Belliveau). Depuis le lancement du CD en 2009, le groupe a été invité à jouer à de nombreux festivals dans la Péninsule acadienne ainsi qu'en Gaspésie et aux Îles-de-la-Madeleine.
