Since 1999 Adam has been playing his brand of soulful house in Detroit. He taught himself to play by watching some of his favorite DJ’s… Terrence Parker, Al Ester, and Jerry the Cat. After taking in the styles and sounds of these hometown hero’s Adam found his own sound which incorporates soul, latin, disco, and jazz into one DJ set. Adam is now in his fourth year of exclusively producing the Rhythm Gallery on CJAM 91.5 fm Windsor/Detroit (Wednesday nights 10:30 – Midnight). The program was started in 1992 by Jerry The Cat and after him handled by DJ Minx, Dave Scott and Tom Desmond. Adam’s current co-host is Mathew Boynton. Twice the program has won best electronic show on CJAM. Adam is always looking to promote the artistic community by playing local music and talking about events on the program. Adam’s latest project is programming the House music station for a new online radio station called Slacker.com. It has the feel of Pandora but with the purchase of a portable device you can take your favorite stations with you. In Late 2007 Dj’s Adam Francesconi and Jay Ramsey started House Gallery as a way of playing various forms of House Music and showcasing Detroit’s best DJ’s. For just over a year Adam and Jay have been playing soulful, funky, jackin’ house along with their own re-edits Saturdays at Proof Lounge in Detroit. Not only will you hear deep house sets but impromptu live sets from Diamondancer can be heard at House Gallery events.
