Adamastor
Portuguese underground rapper from Lisbon. He began rapping in 1996 on the streets of Benfica, initially influenced by groups such as Cella Dwellas, Boot Camp Clik and Mobb Deep. Although at first a dilettante, without hopes of becoming professional, he began devoting more of his time to hip-hop, and in 1997 founded Canal 115 with childhood friend Valete. Between 1997 and 1999 he appeared live and on mixtapes, building a name for himself in the underground. Due to creative differences, he decided to leave Canal 115 and travel the solo route, using this time to further define his own style of hardcore rap, characterized by hard-hitting, raw lyrics delivered in a confrontational voice. He later rejoined the group with new member Bónus on Serviço Público.
