Addicts of Affliction was formed in Montreal Canada in 2004. Original members were Richard Scott, J.F Therien and Max Laurin. In 2005 under the direction of Slaves On Dope axe man Kevin Jardine, the band started on their debut 7 track E.P entitled “Asylum Awaits” which was released in 2006 in both Canada and The United States. In 2008 the band stepped back into studio to record their second album. Kevin Jardine replaced J.F.Therien on Bass.The album, released in 2009 entitled “Sinful Resolution” includes the bands cover of Chris de Burgh’s hit single “Lady In Red” as well as 10 original tracks. In 2010 the band recorded a television theme song originally intended for “Kirstie Alley’s BIG Life”. Although the show wasn’t renewed the song was released in July of 2011.
