Canadian tenor, pianist and playwright/composer originally from England. Moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1962 at age 26 to take a job at the Halifax Chronicle-Herald newspaper. Over the next few years he worked as a theatre and music reviewer at the Toronto Telegram, the Globe and Mail and the Hamilton Spectator. He appeared in many stage productions as well as occasional performances on CBC TV
