A sensation on the Washington, New Orleans and New York club scenes - where her outrageous stage shows have led to police raids on several establishments, and demands from the pro-censorship lobby that she be banned. Adventress came to dance music, ironically enough, via the gospel scene. Working with her parents in the New Faith Choir from the age of 7, Adventress later came to rebel against the restraints of the gospel lifestyle. Her stage performances are, she feels, much more the 'real' adventress. Sensation and outrage aside, Adventress is an outstandingly powerful vocalist and 'Bridge Of Love', her first release, captures her in brilliant form.
