Agonie was a one-time project featuring Mad Roach (https://www.discogs.com/artist/4697779-Mad-Roach) members Francois Nakivel and Mathieu Lambert, and Alexander Wheill of D.F.S. and Archangel. They spent a long weekend packed together in a home basement studio and using a 2-track reel-to-reel tape, recorded what can only be described as dank-dark proto-cyber-metal infused industrial. Mathieu played bass, guitars and backing vocals, Francois (who was a competent drummer) provided lead vocals and programmed the drum machine, while Alex played keyboards, sampler, and also programmed the drum machine. Using lyrics culled and inspired by french poet Francois (Sully) Prud'Homme, the trio essentially improvised all tracks which would end up becoming their only E.P. release. Plans to re-ignite the band a few years after Mad Roach had broken up were discussed but never materialized.
