Rock and Pop
Spanish folk-prog band founded in 1967 by José Antonio Muñoz (vocals), backed by producer Manolo Díaz ("Los Bravos", founder of "Acción" records, and later general manager of CBS Europe). From 1970 their main composer and arranger was Pepe Egea. After Acción's closing in 1973 there was an impasse in their discography and some members split up founding other projects as Desmadre 75, La Charanga Del Tio Honorio, or Simone (71) - Luis Gómez Escolar' alias. They disbanded in the late 70's. During time, a whole lot of musicians was part of "Aguaviva": Juan Carlos Ramírez, Rosa Sanz, Carmen Sarabia, José María Jiménez, Teresa Aranguren, José Luís Heras, Luís Díaz, Luís Gómez Escolar, Miguel Labrada, Luisa López, Ana Fernández (vocals), José María Panizo (bass), Johnny Galvao (guitar), Francis Cervera (guitar), Honorio Herrero, Julio Seijas (guitar), Rogelio Lorenzo (vocals), Luis Miguel Villavicencio "Pelos" (vocals), Eddy Guerin (piano), José Manuel Yanes "El Canario" (piano), José Ramón "Pancho" Company (drums), Pepe Egea, Virgilio Fernández, Miriam Moreno (vocals)...
